Come on guys she is asking for our help to see if all this needs to be done and if the price seems too expensive. With all the good people we have here some one surely can help out and maybe help diagnose the issue.
Do you know if it has has a crash?
Let's do this if it's still light out go out to the truck and take as many pictures of the front strut/coilover wheel from behind/ upper control arm/ cv axel. Another option is take it to the dealer and ask for diagnosis, get a quote from the too.

The prices are what they are from that shop. I would suggest you get an estimate from another shop to compare and also verify if they are using OEM parts or aftermarket parts.

Regarding the real root cause of your issue, it seems like they are not totally sure what is causing the noise so they are just replacing everything that could cause it.

The fact that it started after they replaced your steering rack, seems like it might be related to that right? We put a rebuilt steering rack in our truck an had a clunk occurring when the steering stops (steering wheel turned as far as it can go to one side) were contacted due to the rack shifting on its mounts. This is simple to test: get under the truck and have someone turn the steering to full lock one way, then the other way. Watch the steering rack for movement when the steering stops make contact and increased pressure is applied. Steering rack bolts may need to be tightened or it may need new bushings, if they replaced your rack with a rebuilt one, then the bushings may not have been changed...

I talked to a fellow Toyota nut from Austin. He said "Edwin is THE Toyota guy and he’s in north Austin/south round rock". Business link at https://g.co/kgs/uMBwepf

Those prices are pretty high, even for an expensive city like Austin.

The real question isn't the price though, but does it even need all that stuff. Without seeing the truck firsthand we can't tell you what it really needs

Next time you spend 1,600 on something and there's a noise afterwards, don't wait 6 months to ask them about it.
