Today went to my dealership to check out a new tacoma they just lifted. They only include the bull bar, nerf bars, and the pro comp spacers in the dealership added accessories. 4 grand seems kinda alot for these three things considering the spacers are less than 200 lol.... unless they included the wheels and tires but didn't write them down on the pamphlet. Regardless I would rather enjoy building it myself to what I like and save some money in the meantime. Guess some other people think otherwise as they said they sell them lifted all the time. That is ridiculous, get a Trd or 4x4 and build it yourself. That didn't cost them near 4 grand. Stay away from spacer lifts, if you want a cheaper lift get bilstein 5100s. Not that much more expensive than spacers. Way fewer wear problems

Yeah I know. I already have a TRD sport DCSB. Im already planning on putting 5100s with 887s and a dakar leaf pack. I just wanted to show my dad what the truck would somewhat look like with a lift so I brought him to the dealership. He wasn't sure if he wanted me to put a lift on the truck as im only sixteen haha. But yeah, the minute I saw the price tag I thought to myself that this was a ripoff.

Show him some damaged ball joints from spacer kits. Also you could get all that installed for less than that truck. A lot less

Is that Colonial Toyota in Indiana, PA? Wheels are horrible and they didn't even bro it with KO2s. Amateurs.

And yes, that is ridiculous. Probably looking for the boy who works and lives at home that doesn't know any better.

I'm familiar with that dealership. They are a joke. Worst customer service and reviews for a 100 mile radius.

I've never heard that spacer lift will damage ball joints - interesting , I knew about possibility of busting the shock bottoms

I am surprised a dealer would do anything to alter the truck at all...will standard warranties still apply even tho they did it?...you know how manufacturers look for any reason NOT to cover you.

My local dealership did something similar to this. They were charging 4k for just wheels and tires which was only like 1200 bucks. I asked the guy why they it was so high and he pretty much gave me the answer of "people don't know any better"
