If that frame worries you I'd hate to let you see mine!!
Rust is relative to where you live, my frame is rusty but still solid. A 3-4 year old frame where I live looks worse than that one.

I literally had the same thing on my truck, its just dirt and grime. good power wash and it comes right off. sealed mine after and looks better than new. those are really low miles for that truck. If it is a good price I would buy it

Nice, based on the replies I'm gonna do the same thing and seal it. Price is a little steep at 15.9k but I'm gonna go for it. If I dont, someone else will

Lol anyone and their mother knows you're not gonna find a low mile, DC, 4x4 for $8000. 2wd maybe but that'd be either private party or rusted to shit.

OP passes this up and it'll be gone.

its up to you just trying to share what I found, don't want you to overpay for something. also I took a look at your kbb link and that is from a dealer, if you buy from a dealer you are obviously going to pay more, I bought mine from a private party and that is probably why I got the deal I did

I've probably seen those 4 as I hunted Craigslist in the surrounding states for a few months. Found 3 worth buying. 1 had 80k miles, 2nd had 89k miles, 3rd had 106k miles. All 1 owners well kept double cab TRD offroad, SR5, 4WD etc. Two went for 16.5k and 1 for 14.5k cause it had clear coat issues. I offered 1k less on their asking price and lost out on all since someone paid the asking price. All sold in less than 1 day and all were private party deals.

Never seen a clean low mile double cab TRD SR5 4WD around 8k. Glad you got a good deal on yours though!

location is going to make a big difference in what you pay for your truck. i wish i could have found a late model, first gen, double cab, 4x4 for 8k, well ok i did but they had well over 200k miles and were a bit beat up.

if you did decided to pass and kept looking, you will find a good deal sometime but you will be in the same position as now. if you dont jump on it right away someone else will. they go fast!
