    From what i've heard from a few newer gen3 tacoma's the older ones are the loudest. I've compared the 2019 and my 2020 engines which are are about the same. There's a very light tapping sound thats more noticeable on the passenger side of the engine. My buddies 2019 is a bit more noticeable but he's got twice the mileage.
