But is there even threads of the shock left on top of the tophat? The nut One side might be tighter than the other?

    Work in progress...
Oh yes, aligned for sure if you are gonna drive it more that 500 miles anyhow. I see what you are saying, however, because after taking it apart to install the 1/4 spacer you will have to have it aligned again. I would, being me, probably just put the spacer in there and have it aligned. And stay away from that buddy that points "stuff" out.

Believe ive torqued all of them down properly on both sides. Maybe the suspension just needs to settle.

No one has measured "taco lean" while driving. My hypothesis is that engine torque evens out taco lean while driving. Rev your your engine, and the truck rotates clockwise if you are looking from the driver's seat to the front bumper.

Il do an alignment after the spacer is put on and just roll with it and see how the suspension sits.

I have 887’s and put a 1/2” spacer on my driver side. My driver side settled and is still about an inch lower than my passenger.

Thanks for the info. I guess with the 887s you just have to deal with it. Also do you have stock upper control arms?

Ha then you'll have right side lean.

Or yea screw it, I'll use that as an excuse to floor it everywhere

When you hit a speed bump or the suspension drops you will hear a clunk . Its the 5100 being topped out(fully extended) . It's a common thing with 887's and 5100's. I have 885's and 5100's no armor and it does it once in a while . Also I hope you got some ucas the alignment will suffer with stock ucas and the lift .

No i havent heard any clunks yet. I think i will be fine without doing ucas since i have alot of added weight from bumper, winch and rock sliders. But if its an issue il upgrade those too. A guy on here was running 887s on 5100s with no armor and said that he was able to have it aligned without needing ucas.

Not all Tacos are created equal . The weight up front will definitely help . Hopefully no issues come up at alignment.

1/4 inch spacer installed now both sides sit perfectly even at 24 inches on both sides. Only took about 20 minutes to throw the spacer in too. Weird how the messurements had changed on the passenger side but hey its fixed!20180314_154100.jpg 20180314_160832.jpg 20180314_161921.jpg 20180314_161925.jpg 20180314_170428.jpg 20180314_170436.jpg
