Forget light bars, bumpers, and winches. This could be the next big Tacoma mod! Think of the places you could go! If they can do this on a 4-Runner, why not a Tacoma?

They are rolling big there. Around here the railroad maint. vehicles are beat up GMC trucks. You may see the foreman in a F150, but he rarely runs it on the tracks.

Yeah around here they all run beat up old f450s and big line trucks with buckets.

You can buy plastic wheels that go on train tracks, alot of people build bikes to go on rail tracks.

That's why this caught my eye. I've only seen big Ford and GM trucks. The 4 Runner was a surprise. Could be a Taco...

There is a guy in the next county over that puts the high rail's on trucks. They come from all over the country to have them installed.

The ones at our railroad are using them for drone landing pads.

Railroad worker here, we mostly have F250 high-railers.

My DE was driving one when I retired about 4 yrs ago. They are descent for the paper pushers but the GVW was to low to work out of. My F350 grossed out at 10600 lbs work ready.

I saw an old movie where the 2 guys aired down the tires on their truck and drove it on the railroad tracks to get away from the police.

Can't remember what the movie was, though.
