I know that you have plugs coming, but if you have an O'reillys Auto Parts close by, they carry alot of parts for your truck, including the dual electrode NGK plugs.

I found that Autozone is lacking in parts for my 02' DC.

    Just an update....
The valve cover gaskets appeared to be weeping so I replaced those yesterday. If you like using a 10mm and 12mm socket, this is the job for you! BMW doesn't make it this easy. It took 3 hours to replace VCGs and the intake gasket (also recommended), start to finish. Most of the time was spent removing rubber hoses and stuff necessary to get to the VCGs.

I cleaned the head surfaces and used RTV sealant on the crevices and seams like I found had been done from the factory. It all looked pretty clean in there. I didn't see any scoring on any cam surfaces.

It all appears to seal well now and a test start looked good. No extra bolts or hoses laying around when I finished!

Man I wish my engine bay was that clean. Gotta do the timing belt on mine soon. I think its making noise. Only when I get on it, but not all the time. Currently has 195k miles and due to the previous owner's lack of maintenance, I highly doubt that its ever been changed.
