Welp. They redid all the tint and actually did good on everything except for the rear glass cut. They left a fairly small gap and claimed that's the best they can do. I told them I will have the rear done elsewhere, paid them 350 and I'm out. All in all, I'm satisfied with the compromise. I'm not getting the best deal obviously, but I will get the rear done right for about 100 and this headache is put to rest.

Off topic, but did your cleats come with the truck or was it extra? I heard I should have had some come with my truck if I had the bed rails, but my truck didn't come with any.

Update: So they stripped and redid all the tint. Everything looked good except the back windows. I paid 200 less and told them to rip it off and I had done at my new place. The rear windows have zero gap now.

540 total. I know I overpaid but it's water under the bridge. The job would have cost 340 at the new place I found.

Wtf. Here you could get the whole truck done for $250 or so. Down south the do tint super cheap. Some places I still think do $99 dollar specials. I can't believe you paid that

where the hell do you live?
I thought everything was more money up here north of the border. A tint shouldn't cost you more than $300 tops and thats high. I paid $200 OTD for mine and its 22% all around with the UV polarized filter type tint.

I'm in San Diego. The new guy used LLumar and the old pace used Suntek film which is made by Llumar. The new place also did my windshield. Anyways, I know I could have done better but I'm not crying about it. At least I learned a thing or two.

seriously I've done better myself the one time I tried installing tint.
For a shop charging so much this is repulsive.

OP if I was you I'd be going back asking for a good chunk of the price back or for them to redo the tint.

ask them to fix it, if they don't smear their name so no one on here goes to a hack job shop like this.

They did redo it and it looks fine. The guy didn't know how to do the back cuts very good so I had them rip it off and discount the original price that I agreed to. It's my fault for accepting a shitty price, but I can live with it and not loose a second of sleep.
