I know this is old....I was told I was being unreasonable in asking for the tint to be redone and there’s nothing to tuck or cover the tint edges. I was also told older Tacomas like my 07 had a black edging which is why I didn’t have a gap on that one. Um? That’s a load of crap. My 07 did not have the edging and I didn’t have a gap.

I’ve got a nice crack behind my driver’s seat, a chip missing from the top of my passenger side and the slider glass tint is cut way too short to cover the glass so it looks like the slider is open ALL. THE. TIME.

My best friend owns a tint shop. That would not make it out of his doors. He has been tinting for about 35 years. Lifetime warranty on his film and workmanship.

    $250.

    Drives me effin’ nuts!!

He did my car and my husband’s truck and they’re awesome and perfect. Not so much on my truck.

My husband keeps asking me if my slider is open.

Another tint guy in STL said the same thing. I was being picky. Seriously? WTAF? If I was a guy, this shit would not fly.

Lol do your fucking research people.

find reviews. Go through the comments. Find people with your truck or around your year and see what they say.

    it’s not hard.

if there aren’t a lot of reviews, go to the next shop.

Chris Luck - Sun Cool in Hendersonville. Be patient as he is ALWAYS busy and it’s hard to get him on the phone. When you do, be ready to schedule. He’s done 3 of my cars/trucks.

Jakk, I see that your first name is accurate. I have an opinion on what your last name should be.

I think my windows are actually tinted, not an applied film. To me this is a decent approach. I like how Op has moved on...we all have a crate (or more) of parts we have put on, taken off, put on, taken off....) or just never even put on because on dry fit they suck, that we have resold or given way at discount. Op is demonstrating how a civil society works...including the hard part where you have to compromise with idiots. In the end of the day a 32nd of an inch of sunlight under ideal sun angle conditions doesn't matter to him anymore and I applaud that.

Who cares if they think you're being picky? It's your truck and your money. Tell them to fix it or give you a partial refund.
