dudette the op cant even check his air pressure and for shure cant work on or add stuff to his truck that would make it heavier and the engineers at toyota are smarter than anybody on this site so 10k is ok

I don't think this was suggested.

100% this. Same truck, same year, same tires/wheels. I'm heavy and this feels very comfortable and planted. Dial in the reservoir compression a few notches firmer at full load out. Love it.

My door jam says 32psi. I went to 35 for a while, but seemed awfully harsh, and terrible on dirt roads for hunting, shooting and wheeling trips in the desert. So, 32 it is.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I found the P-metric tires liked to run around the pressure suggested on the door sticker. The LT E-rated tires I have are 10 ply sidewalls and want to be run around 40 psi. A pound or two either way doesn't seem to bother them.

Yeah, basic shit that gives you zero and I mean zero useful data. Unless you have some new scientific measurement, please share. There are so many reason it is pointless, that I can't believe that people waste their time with that nonsense. Here are just a few -

1- You simply cannot drive straight
2 - No road is perfectly flat (this contributes to #1)
3 - You cannot do this nonsense at highway speed
4 - Your toe is not set to zero
5 - Modern steel belted radials maintain a contact patch over a very vast range of air pressure

I can go on if you want, but this should be enough for you to realize the futility of your shade tree nonsense. Ask yourself this - have you ever seen Nascar, Indicar, Formula 1 or any major racing body do this nonsense if it really does anything?

Please do us all a favor and stop suggesting this internet novelty. It really is a waste of time when you look at the factors.

My guess that statement just went over the heads of 90% of the people that read your statement and I'm being generous thinking that 10% actually get it.:rofl::rofl:

it's below the maximum pressure for the tire itself but it's overinflated for the Tacoma specs. mine says 32 psi on inside of door. they usually over-inflate the crap out of them at the shop because most people never check their tire pressure.
