    I feel for you, Man... I feel bad for anyone living in the rust belt. I can't believe any vehicle manufacturer can sell a product with body panels that don't rust easily, but the frames go away in a short time.

    How much is a frame? You're going to want to know that...

    I previously owned this truck and have a chance to buy it back. It did have a hole on the passenger side just behind the spring perch, but thanks to this site I ordered the repair patch and had a buddy who is a welder fix it. I bought the truck dirt cheap because of this rust and did many repairs (steering rack, timing belt, etc) The lady I bought it from (brother’s mother-in-law) really wanted it back so I sold it. She would be happy to sell it back to me again, but the rust scares me. I love these old Tacomas though and was thinking of giving it another shot. Here’s a before and after of the frame patch my buddy did

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    In the end it comes down to price.

    If your worried just pass it up it will always be working on you.
