Is this toy pickup going to sell for this price?

Its not salt and what do do lay down they only use it on corners bridges and hills and nothing more. And no corrosion what so ever.

 

Mag chloride is like road salt on steroids. It will even deteriorate plastic and rubber. It will devour your truck. And it gets aerosolized by moving traffic.

 

Don't know exactly of what the chemical make up is of what they spray but ive lived here a long time and have never had a rust issue on any of my vehicles.

 

Yeah it floors me how someone will shell out $30,000 to ride around in a rattle can....
dont care how fancy the paint is or how clean the engine......its still a little ass 116hp truck, thats even slower than a 2rz auto.....

Maybe my nephew's old fisher price electric car is worth converting to a tesla tot mobile....hoover or maybe a Kirby engine.....could be worth a small fortune....

 

Magnesium chloride is superior to sodium chloride because it depresses the freezing point of water by a few degrees more and can be used in colder climates. It is ungodly corrosive.

It’s not used in California where we only use sea salt.

Salination of rivers and streams is a big deal.

Yep, the dealers had an option to install a supercharger that was toyota TRD branded. It was made by Magnussen (and still available from them, so not hard to come by)

That generation has a lot of tuning issues though.

Dealer installed "option" sounds more legit... People get confused between factory and dealer option. They figure it was installed at a Toyota dealership so it's factory.

Dealer installed: options added after the dealer received the vehicle
Factory installed: vehicle leaving the assembly/production line with it

 

They all having tuning issue, regardless if it's a first or second gen charger nor trd or Magnuson.

 

Is it a cool truck? Yeah. Would I spend anything in the neighborhood of $20K for it? Not in a million years.
