I have a 2wd, 2.4l AT, I live in Denver but drive to Leadville often. I'd like to get this trailer. Of couse,.I'll need to fill it with water and was thinking of putting in several extra batteries so I could be off grid a bit longer. I've never towed before, I am a very impatient guy and drive everywhere at 80mph.

My truck doesn't have the tow package, but it does have the ball bolted to the bumper.

This trailer looks perfect for my needs. What do you guys think?

Monday is the New Friday and it's way too big. I would not be comfortable towing that with my truck. V6. Tow package. 4x4.

    This post reeks of troll.

    1) 38 ft 7,400 lb trailer
    2) 2.4 L 4 cyl
    3) 2wd in Colorado
    4) wants to add abunch of extra weight to trailer
    5) wants to drive 80+ with trailer (riding in my buddy’s 5 lug it has enough trouble going 80 unloaded Which leads me to believe OP doesn’t even have said truck)
    6) only has ball hitch bolted to bumper.

If not a troll then the OP is absolutely clueless.

Don't listen to everyone else. Get a second taco as well and just use both of them to pull this trailer simultaneously. You'll be fine

No problem at all. Keep it in 1st gear (L1) and RPMs around 6k it’ll do it. Stopping might be interesting, but you won’t be going fast in 1st, so that kind of works itself out.
