If you ever order from ToyotaPartsDeal.com and have to deal with them prepare for third-world e.s.l. people on chat and phone and getting mail from no-reply mailboxes and using goofy webforms to try and communicate. I personally find all the ToyotaPartsDeal.com communications in my mailbox by searching for the below:

"Note: This email was sent from a notification-only address that cannot accept incoming email. Please do not reply to this message."

I would not recommend ordering from them. I ordered some marker lights for my 03 tacoma. They sent me the wrong part, and then charged me a 20% restocking fee and made me pay for the shipping back. I got the OEM part numbers for the lights, and double checked before ordering to make sure I was getting the right part. Was 100% a mistake on their part, yet they make the customer pay for the companies mistakes. Terrible customer service, and terrible way to run a business.

TOTALLY DONE WITH THE IDIOTS AT TOYOTA PARTS DEAL .

I placed an order for parts (formerly was a long time repeat customer)
Shortly afterward I sent them a note via website contact, where I INQUIRED ( not REQUIRED ) if I could add a forgotten item to my original order.
I said "if possible can I add..." .
Nowhere & never did I indicate anything like “ add this part , or cancel my order”

TPD 'replied' , via email, that NO they could not add items ... which is understandable, fine with me & spelled out in their Terms ...

BUT THEN THE MORONS HALTED & HELD UP MY ORIGINAL & VALID PAID ORDER ,

The idiots had added the stipulation to their reply , basically DEMANDING that I REPLY to THEIR email with a "duh OK ... go ahead" ... BEFORE they would process my original order. WHAAAAA???????? How stupid is that ...

They sent me a generic reply email (which I overlooked as it was unexpected in my email piles), until I started looking into " now , where are those parts , still MIA nearly a week later".

They SKUNKED ME. They Burned ME... They Burned ( and lost me) my good customer . They scrapped my customer's travel plans & cost them cancellation money. TOTAL BONE HEADS and took no responsibilty. OFFERED NO SATISFACTION OR ACCOMODATION.

Cust Svc chats & calls were a total joke & waste of time , apparently ignoring any logic , merely repeating " thats our policy" but unable to lead me to that BONEHEAD "we PUNISH inquiries with non-service" policy stated.

Then the call taker promised "order goes out this morning" but they hadn't shipped by the next day either. They wouldn't spring a couple buck for Priority shipping after dickin me & customer for a week. I couldn't add expedited shipping either

They basically didn't G.A.S. , their Customer service is a joke, they say " this is policy" and you have ZERO recourse against them.

Avoid these TPD clowns , TPD's parts look up catalogs are a joke too -

I suggest the excellent catalogue (& service) available at parts. lakelandtoyota. com aka TOYOTAPARTSOVERSTOCK

I just used McGeorge (thru parts.toyota.com) a few weeks ago for a set of wheels. Good price and free shipping.

Awesome! Never had free shipping from them but very reliable and good prices. I’ll have to go through parts.toyota.com next time and see if McGeorge still has the free shipping.

That is over a certain $ amount. I think it's $200.00, so that wouldn't help for small stuff. Saved me about $100. I could have had them shipped to my local dealer, but the price would have been higher.

It’s over $75 for free shipping buying from McGeorge Toyota through parts.toyota.com. I checked on some bed lights for my 2019, they cost about $4 more going through them than buying directly from McGeorge Toyota parts online, but shipping from McGeorge usually costs $12-17 for an item like that so still a better deal with the free shipping at parts.toyota.com

A lot of times it's the dealership that the parts came from that messed up. But since ToyotaPartsDeal is the middle man they should make it right. Unfortunately they have a pretty shitty customer service reputation (aka practically non existent)

Hope you're able to get it sorted out. If you used a credit card, dispute the charge if TPD doesn't make it right

    I would recommend oempartsource.com

I ordered a handful of fasteners from them (bed bolts, suspension bolts, body mount bolts, etc.) a while back. They screwed up the order and accidentally sent too many of one type of fastener and zero of another fastener.

I emailed them and let them know and without question they shipped the right ones out free of charge and just said to keep the extra ones they accidentally sent to use as spares. Was very happy with their customer service.

No, I finally received an email from them. Apparently drums are on nation wide backorder. So they are sending me the brakes and hardware only.

I don't recommend them. I ordered a mirror cover for my 2009 Prius but what they sent did not fit although the site said it was the right part. I even brought it to a mechanic to try and put it on. He said it wouldn't fit and I should return it.

ToyotaPartsDeal.com refused to take it back because I didn't save the original packaging. I understand they can't process an automated return without original labels, but I spoke to a manager who was unwilling to help me even with pictures of the part and the order number. Terrible policy, and we will not be ordering from them again.

Anyone who does order from them: make sure you save the original packaging until you're sure you won't need to return anything.

DO NOT BUY FROM Toyotapartsdeal!!! I purchased a replacement arm rest for my driver's side seat and received the passenger side arm rest instead. I called and they didn't call me back but instead sent me an email stating that they wanted me to pay to ship it back as well as a 20% restocking fee. I've been a service manager for years and was responsible for all of North America distribution and service and have never heard of somebody charging a restocking fee for an exchange and especially not if it wasn't my mistake to begin with. I asked if I could speak with the general manager about this order because of these circumstances and the service manager was a complete A-hole and hung up on me. I called back and asked the operator to let me speak with the general manager and he had her transfer the call back to him and he said that the general managers identity is classified and that I can't speak with him and he hung up on me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! disrespect and arrogance all around.

Man try to find a local dealership that also sells parts online. There are 2 dealerships that I've bought parts from locally that let me buy online and pickup for free or like $3. If you're anywhere in East Los Angeles, San Gabriel area I recommend Longo Toyota in El Monte - ask for Danny. I ordered a lot of parts and had excellent customer service.

Count me in on unhappy TPD customers - wish I had found thread before I ordered 4 wiper blade insert/refills.... Lesson learned. Hopefully 'we' can keep others from making the same mistake...
