    Just a thought:

Is everyone remembering to air up for winter? As weather gets colder, the air in your tires will lose volume and you will lose tire pressure. You should remember to air up in late fall and air down in spring. My tires were at 32 psi two weeks ago and read 29 psi yesterday, temps being about 20 degrees cooler. I check tire pressure weekly, so its less of an issue for me, but you gotta watch tire pressure closely during fall/spring to maintain your fuel economy.

Er...small engines typically warm more quickly, because there's less metal present to dissipate the heat and less surface area for air cooling...

I park my truck in the garage. I drive six miles to work. It takes about half that distance to get up to temp. It has been in the upper 30's in the morning around here.

I loved the climate control on my Accord. It would not blow air until it reached the temperature that the climate control was set at.
