It’s probably how the photos were taken…but just in case…one tire appears closer to the mud flap than the other.

guessing they didn't look at the truck before putting on. Clearly a Sport that is supposed to have painted flares but installed a standard offroad flare.

Body shop will need to spray the fender trim since Toyota does not sell prepainted 3rd gen fender trim.

I have to agree with above. Truck was damaged in transit, and someone slapped an unpainted flare on it and called it good.

Sport trim comes with painted flares. OR and Pro come with unpainted.

Dealership repair. You would be surprised at the amount of dealer repairs being done on new vehicles & they don't have to disclose it.

I never found any factory flaws on my 2016 from Mexico. I agree that it is probably post factory damage and someone slapped on a new one.

It took 2 months of badgering the dealer, but they did finally fix this!

Doesn’t matter… his opportunity to either stay all painted or get all OR flares - the choice so many seem to want.

I recently saw someone had just purchased a 2023 Tacoma and later noticed a TRD sport bed decal on one side and a TRD off road decal on the other side.

My off road has non painted flares.
Looks like you got a OR flare.
Sucks on a brand new rig!
I do QC work and 100% is not required.
    Plus people get complacent.
Congrats on the new rig hope it’s smooth sailing from here!!!
