    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I just drove 186 miles towing a trailer with my atv (Can Am approx 720 lbs) with the KO2s and got 18 mpg.
Kamloops to Valemount, BC so it’s a hilly route on the edge of the Rockies.
It’s a good all round tire and in my area it’s cheaper than some of the other popular AT tires.

I run these...no issues! I bought my truck at a Toyota dealership where their technicians did the leveling mods and bigger tires for previous owner who was the sales manager. Looks good without any noticeable problems. Tires are great on snow and ice, all around. I run them at 36-38 psi.

It's not so much "you can't run the tire" as the liability of selling, and being responsible for what happens to the tire and vehicle after the sale..lol. When a truck and/or car manufacture recommends a tire, they do it for pretty good reasons. Most of those guys make lots and lots of money and are like really really smart. Large shops like the one's I worked for don't like lawyers, courtrooms, and pissed off customers. I sure did not. Until you've stood in a courtroom, with your right hand in the air, and paid for the attorney's like I have, you just won't understand. Same as a oil out, wheel off and other phucked up things that folks sue for or about. Run what ya brung I say. It's your truck, and you should do what ever you want with it. I do. This is America dammit. But when your guy say's you should not, he might be correct.

Been running BF KOs now BF KO2s Load E on my stock suspension 2002 4 x 4. 15 years going strong 3 years were on the stockers. Original clutch, runs great, snow, ice, heat in colorado 150K. No issues. I would think the improved suspension of the newer trucks will be able to take it. Not sure what they are talking about and I dont off road. lol

I bought k02s about a month ago. I couldn’t find c load in a 285/75/16 so E load it was. It does ride firmer but quiet on the highway. My mpg did take a small hit. I want to say they are by far the least heaviest in that size. I believe 53-55 lbs each. Compared to my ridge grapplers on my Jeep 70lbs each. I installed the pedal commander which does help move it along nicely.

just buy them. You won’t regret it plus it makes it look aggressive.3A7978D4-C362-451F-9954-6AE2E647DFD7.jpg10D224A7-2FA3-408B-8573-A6904614E88D.jpg

I've been sell tires for a living 15 plus years and been in the retail side of selling as well. I do know from personal and professional experience that the BFG KO's are a very heavy tire as in wheel balancing not the actual weight of the tire. They take a lot more weight to balance than say a Toyo or even a Goodyear or Cooper. Also another factor will be the size your are running. As for a LT ( 10 ply ) verses a P metric in my professional opinion there is nothing wrong with going to a 10ply or LT tire. The ride will be a little rougher and you might get a little less fuel mileage but nothing will hurt your truck. Get the tires you want. Myself I am a Toyo Tire guy. The MT's and RT's are a awesome tire and that is what I will be putting on mine once I decide on the lift and wheels.

Me too, the red one is a beautiful car and one of the nicest I have ever seen. The royal plum is like it rolled off the assembly line. It's that perfect! Red one just sold.

I'm getting 285/75r17 BFG KO2 installed today on a set of RRW RR2-V 17x8.5 -12. Going up from 265/75r16 Toyo AT2 on the OEM OR wheels. I'm nervous because this setup is 15 lbs heavier per tire.

Wow, get ready for a rough ride and a hit on gas mileage, hunting for gears, loss.of power and the list goes on. But your truck will look tuff.

Yep, I'm expecting all of that lol. But I drive mostly on flat roads. And I don't do any rock crawling, mostly gravel and dirt trails.

Well they are a good tire but have had several bfgs my Toyo open country at2 were just a better tire in all aspects for my needs. Good luck with the bfgs. If not to late I would change my mind if I were you.

When I had the KOs on my 2013 OR with the hilariously touchy electric brake booster it was astonishingly easy to get into ABS in the wet / slush, especially with any degree of panic braking. I never had issues with acceleration and/or turning, but just the initial braking bite. Between that and Toyota's crummy reputation for clear coat I went to dedicated snow tires and didn't look back.

I've got KO2s on my manual 3G it's not nearly as sensitive to ABS lockup, although with the manual it is somewhat easier to break the tires loose on wet ground.

My 2013 had a slight vibration from 62-65, going 60 or 68 would smooth it out. My 2016 is reasonably smooth throughout the range. I don't plan on changing things up anytime soon. I did go with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S on my wife's Jeep since it didn't make sense to run dedicated snows for her, and those would be an excellent tire if you don't need something quite so aggressive.

Thanks. I was going for some SCS Ray 10 but they are hard to get. I can’t settle for anything less so I figured I would beef up the stock wheels.

    I bought the following lift.45132A4A-2FFA-4E25-A306-817691F021F5.jpg
