    Hello Tacoma enthusiasts!
I have a 2008 Tacoma 4wd I recently went to replace my CV shafts and when installing the trakmotive TO-8168 shafts I hit some hurdles first the TIMKEN seal (710573 or 710477) would not quite fit inside the inboard side of the spindle, then I tried to install the CV without any extra seal (trakmotive shafts have a built in seal) this seal not quite go all the way in the hub(not enough where I knew the wheel bearing was safe...So I ordered the toyota seal 90304-A0001 and this seal does not quite fit in either. When I tried to smoosh it together with 35mm hub nut it I am wondering if there is a chance the previous owner replaced the spindles and they are just a skosh too small? I tried to get a good measure of the inside dimension of the hub best I could get was 3.497" and the rubber seal on both toyota and timken are right at 3.5" doesn't seem like enough but these damn seals will not go in. Which way does this dust seal go?
