I just got my truck back from getting a bumper replaced.
They had to take the bed off and paint the side panel as well.
They also replaced the brake lights.
    2011 Toyota Tacoma double cab.

Now when I press the brake petal the reverse dash light and the right signal dash light illuminate. It also turns the back up camera on when the brake petal is pressed.

The sales guy told me the cause was a burned out brake bulb.
I am not stupid I know that is not what is causing the issue.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

    Thanks for the help.

Check it with the lights On, and have someone press the brake. There is a chance they wired it up wrong.

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
When I discovered my canopy brake light was disconnected, I figured it was an easy fix and wired it how I thought it should be. It did come on, but was very dim. Eventually I figured out that I had grounded it in the wrong place. Once I switched it to be grounded to the actual brake light ground instead of the truck constant ground, the light came on nice and bright. No idea why that made a difference, since in my mind a ground is a ground...but it did.

    So yeah..check your wiring.
