Issues with Suspension/Brakes

    Last weekend I went mudding and ever since then the back driver side shock has been squeeking. When ever I get in or out it sounds like a rickety old bed shaking. I'm pretty sure that all the mud is out of there. I don't know what to do. Its pretty loud and sounds terrible on a almost new truck. BTW I just had the TSB done about 3,000mi ago.

    Now with the brakes ever time I back up they squeel like crazy. In the morning especially when I leave for school it is a super loud ear piercing scream. Sometimes in afternoon it will happen as well.:(

    It's the SPRINGS not the SHOCKS in the back. Use a pressure washer and blow those rear springs out and then use a lithium or teflon style grease to lube them.

    The brakes thing- Prolly wanna start by pulling them open and cleaning them. Could have something caught between the guard and the disc or the disc and the pads, or the pad and the calipers. (or insert proper drum component names if the sequel is the rear....)

    Mudding = ALOT of cleaning.

    Its coming from the rear drums. To clean them it doesn't require any special tools does it.

    Not that I can think of. Read any "how to" about taking off/replacing rear drums and you'll be able to find/make a list of what you need.
    My guess is- mud or a small rock in there....Poke a finger in there or use some water and you'll be money.
