Has anyone else had issues with Toytec selling items they don't have in-stock? I ordered the ultimate lift kit with Dakar leafs on the weekend, got a shipped notification on Monday with A FedEx tracking number, items still have not been tendered to FedEx and nothing has shipped.

Emailed them on Tuesday asking why it hasn't shipped and was told the shipping department is "way" behind and they will move my order up to priority status and it will ship on Wed. Now here I am Thursday and nothing has still shipped.

They were quick on the draw to take my payment and make it look like on the site the items were in stock. Now I'm sitting here with wheel and tires waiting and hoping this kit ships some day soon!

Are they known for this type of customer service????

    Thanks

I ordered the BOSS lift kit on black friday and on the website it said it was on "back order", no big deal I wasn't in a hurry or anything. I sent the vendor on TW a message asking about shipping and before I got a reply on here I got a phone call about the shipping details and delays, and it may be a couple weeks before its shipped (again no big deal). Within a week of ordering I got a reply on here from the vendor about my kit has been built and ready for shipping with a tracking number and fed ex will be picking up the order from their warehouse within 24 hour. Another week after than I got my stuff.

No complaints here on their communication or shipping or anything. They were very informative and gave realistic time lines and expectations. Their initial estimate over the phone was 2-3 weeks and everything arrived at the house right about the 2 week mark.

I had a lot of issues with the shipping department last Feb. I was not in a rush to get the parts as it was cold as hell. They had to pay shipping 7 times to get the right parts to me. The last time they shipped they sent it over night. They kept sending parts for a gen 1. Some of the parts were for my 2013 and others for the gen 1. It got to the point is was funny as hell. The guy in charge ended up giving me a credit back for $75.00 I know for a fact they lost their ass big time on that sale. In the end all turned out good. First was wrong color springs then right color wrong year. Then sent the one part with them thinking I was keeping the parts that were right. Then sent the wrong spring again. At last the over night shipment was spot on. So 6 X $45 and the overnight was $125.00 = $395.00 + the $75.00 kick back. I would say they lost their ass good on that sale. Looks like they are still having problems with shipping and sales. I not once had to raise hell as they volunteered everything. Yes I would order from them again.
