Hi guys, loving my new-to-me 1st Gen and this forum and all everyone does to he helpful! Does anyone with more knowledge than me know if these Isuzu pickup wheels would fit my 97 Tacoma? they're both 15" and have the same lug pattern. I couldn't find much about this on Google except one forum where someone said Toyota rims would fit Isuzu but not the other way around because of the center hub being too small on Isuzu. Yet websites like this say Isuzu pickup bore is 108mm (https://www.crawlpedia.com/bolt_patterns.htm) and Tacoma bore is 106 mm... which is bigger, right? So, what am I missing? Searching on here for Isuzu specifically didn't answer my question so I'm hoping somebody might have some insight.

Oh yes, one other thing... 31/10.5/R15 is the tire size, I believe these wheels are 15x7 when my stock steelies are 15x6, but I know that these trucks also came stock with 15x7 so I didn't think that would be an issue.

    Thank you!

Some stock wheels are hub centric.
Meaning the wheel stays centered to hub by close fit.
Some wheels are lug centric that require a different type of lug nuts.
If the hub hole is larger than hub and the wheels are NOT lug centric you risk wheel failure that could result in loss of life.
You can add hub centric rings to adapt wheels with holes larger than hubs.

There are hub centric rings out there to take up that space. I used to run them on my second gen. They were plastic and did snap, but I kept using them without issue. You do need conical lug nuts though.

Also keep in mind the wheels may seem similar, but I'd want to compare back spacing and offset to make sure you will clear the calipers.

Thanks for the info! My buddy who is a much more experienced mechanic than I am said it's not worth the effort to use something besides Toyota wheels. I just haven't found any that I like yet! I may have to keep looking as I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, but I would like to replace the steelies!
