This is what my stock looked like fully loaded. I can usually stick my fist between the wheel and fender, i barely fit two fingers with this load. (Insert joke here) and rubbed the fender a few times getting out of the forest.

For some reason reminds me of a Sumo wrestler squatting right before the fight.

Did you also upgrade your brakes? and your drive line?
With the aftermarket bumpers and sliders, and larger tires, I imagine you are north of 1,000 lbs overloaded.

Please be careful, my family drives on the same roads that you do.

I had extra leafs put on my '91 pickup and would often carry a ton of gravel from the quarry. After my first time getting gravel with a load of 3000lbs, I restricted future loads to 2000 lbs. Carrying a ton on a much bigger truck like this should be fine... unless the Tacoma is not as strong as the old "pickup".

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Technically abusing the rear suspension. Rear axle and frame might not be rated to handle that weight regardless of Spring strength.

I've hauled over 1,000 a few times, and my only concern is cracking the bed.

These truck have plenty good brakes, and bump stops to limit the up travel.
