Welcome! So, is this coming to you as a "used" package or are you really going that ballz-out on a brand spankin' new specimen?

I love my Super White Taco that I have only had 7 months. Just bought a Lunar Rock RAV4 XLE AWD for my wife's daily driver and me when I want to skimp on fuel, now. I told her the other day that I'd only trade for an identically configured '22 TRD OR DCLB. Problem is they all seem to be coming in to dealers in Premium packages which I don't want. I was really disappointed seeing the leather interior in a Taco my buddy had bought. Plus, I don't want a sunroof in a 4wd truck.

 

New truck and as I will only be home a short time before back to work I want to rig it up all at once. Wife receiving parts in the mail almost daily right now. Haha. She’s a doll. Leather is easier to keep clean in our environment and I like the roof for the fresh air and sun poking around on the pipeline. I’ll be in 7/8 hours a day for the next year

Don't get me wrong, I love me some leather seats! I was just very surprised at the quality of the construction and the look and feel of the SofTek used in the Taco. I'm in love with the SofTek stuff in the RAV4 and other vehicles. It's really nice and I'm not the least bothered by it's synthetic nature. We didn't get SofTek in our RAV and we really wanted it but that was the really the ONLY thing we missed on the Premium because they had added an All Weather pkg and some other goodies. I'm buying some Clazzio leathers for it, though. First for the RAV and then for my Taco. Amazing look and quality and you'd never know they were covers they're built and customized so well.

Grizzled I’ll have to check out Clazzio. Synthetic leather in my Ridgeline has held up well over the years and I’m betting Toyota quality will be the same. Can’t wait to post before and after pics. Reading the blogs on this site has been a wealth of info as a almost Taco owner. I think the big one was the needle bearing after lifting. I would have been choked if I’d put a lift in and got a vibration not knowing what it was. Appears common
