I didn’t think I spent that much on my truck but I was curious and made an excel sheet with of all my expenses over the years and holy shit!! I didn’t even include the costs of tires because that’s mostly essential. Really tried to reduce costs by buying second hand.
    F3EC22E4-7DFE-4E23-9C1E-B7F7487F1CE7.jpg
This is over the course of owning the truck for 6+ years which isn’t bad I guess.

The nut kicker is when you buy new rims and tires for your truck when the set you have has only 1200 miles on them. A nice TW member bought my 265/75r16 TRD rims off me so that helps.

I am so sorry, but totally respect your memorial. It is so hard losing a member, even more so with bigger dogs for me to lose a family member.

My baby is 150. She demands she sleeps next to me (really on top). They are family.

    Sorry to hear that man.

It just really sucks because dogs are awesome and we get so attached to them. My dog is 5, hopefully he lives another 5 happy years. It will be real shitty for me when he goes…

My first vehicle was 1990 mazda b2200 2WD of course. First and last 2WD truck I’ve ever bought.

Tacoma XP predator trim. It’s basically an upgraded Base SR offered by select dealerships.

It’s a terrible and unfortunate naming scheme in my opinion.

Don't worry. By the 2nd or 3rd year on here is when you'll really start modding the truck.

Wow how cool is that. I have a dog that is fantastic. Better than most people I know. I'd do anything for her and I know
she'd do anything for us too, I feel for anyone who comes into our house she'll take their leg off.... very smart dog very
    loving and protective.

You gave me an idea with the ashes - I'm gonna do that too - take her everywhere.

My brother in law has had both his done 3 years apart. Feels like a new man, he still works as a printer running around the shop and almost 67 years old. Prior to that he had so many surgeries on the knees I used to tell him they should just Velcro them up for easier access.

And nice truck. Mine ain't quite what yours is but I'm also 2WD. Driven daily in MA even a few years ago when we had a record setting winter.

PS cute cat in your avatar, who is that?

I'm with ya OP, 4x2 here also. If you live in south FL and don't really off-road except for some dirt and gravel, why spend the extra $$? I can spend it on stuff for the truck instead :)
