About 8 years ago I watched my uncle fill up his 1 series in HK. Wasn’t even fully empty but still went up to something comical like $130 USD. He got a free bottle of water though.

I can't quite understand what the big deal is...

We were importing about 3% of oil from 'that-place'...
So if we were paying $3.00 a gallon before, but now we have to pay 3% more that adds up to.... hmmm... .09 cents more??

Recent article quoted oil execs going on and on about all the 9,000+ oil-leases they have in their hands but the stock-holders
are pressuring them NOT to drill, they want to milk the people for as much as they can. They got the leases, Drill baby Drill...
And while you're at it, quit exporting it to other places, drill it here, KEEP IT HERE.

Wait till corporate earnings come out soon and you'll see all the oil companies busting at the seams with money.
