Agreed, and you know full well that if I reuse it, It’ll go to leaking like a week later…lol

 

Is there a write up on removing those rear back rests?
I tried to pull mine off and I heard tearing so I stopped

 

Quick update… I haven’t stopped working on the truck, just haven’t had time to upload. But I did do this…

 

Not bad for my first ever door panel overhaul….The trick is doing it twice…lol
I will say that this interior is really the way older cars (70’s and back) were put together.

It does stink how there is hardly any aftermarket stuff for the interior. Suprising considering the numbers of Tacomas. Wish they had seat skins

You might be surprised how easy these come clean. It's a shitty picture, but mine looked just like yours before some time with some coil cleaner, a garden hose, and an air compressor. It blew so much colder after I put it all back together. Very satisfying.

 

Given the age on mine and the corrosion, it was better to replace it. Works great now!
