Yeah I need to explore some more options. I would like to avoid drilling into the roof if at all possible, and I dont want to have the antenna sticking up above the roof all the time for the reason you just said.

Not much to show. You stick an antenna in the roof...

And wire a CB to it...

The mag mounts suck, they get ripped off all the time.

Drilling a hole in the roof actually turns the roof sheetmetal into the ground plane. Works wonders.

It's really not that hard. 9/16 hole saw bit I believe, pull the dome light out and put a magnet on the headliner to catch shavings. Deburr and seal raw metal with whatever (I used RTV). Bolt cable in place, snake cable to a-pillar, route to CB. Done.

Sweet. I went ahead and ordered a pair of those blitzpros. And yea that sucks about Kodak. I will still make it out there to fuck around on Dickey Bell atleast. Daniel is going to get crowded as hell now, as if it wasn't already.

I'm thinking about getting a pair of these Blitzpro led bars for in the "turn signal" slots of my ARB bumper. Do either of you have dimensions for them?

    Rock lights are in.

It became immediately apparent upon receiving the shipment that Blitzpro's included mounting hardware was some kind of comedy. It is in no way adequate. We drilled the mounting brackets and used our own 7/16s bolts/nuts/washers.

Front lights are drilled and mounted into the fender sheetmetal, mids are mounted in holes punched through the frame (well above slider level of course) and rears are mounted to the rear of the frame well above bumper level.

    Output is excellent.

Fronts are outside the fender sheetmetal. Those of you with plate front bumpers will not be able to take advantage of this location:

Mids are halfway down the frame. Drill frame, paint, done:

For the rears, there's a lip of the rear frame crossmember that already has some stock wire loom in place. I removed those clips, re-routed the stock stuff, and drilled an additional hole on each side to go with the existing hole. This isn't the mounted light, and as you can see I was in the middle of priming and painting, but the drilled hole is on the right.
