    At 20k miles they're coming close to half tread. Looking to be a 40k mile tire or so.

    MTRs definitely wear faster than the KM2s. A little louder roar on the road as well. Other than that, I'd say the MTRs are a better tire in most respects. Just wish they made 'em in a 285/75/17.

    Nah. Cut all the way around like that flaps like a sumbitch and looks like ass. I'll remove 'em, bondo the holes, and have the panels professionally repainted before I do that half assed shit.

    Other option would be "downsized" custom flares that some guys run.
