That piece of plastic is overpriced but it's worth it IMO. Paid $399 plus $25 for shipping. I spent money on more ridiculous things. The MGM and pro grille looks so good on this truck. Grey and black blends in really well. The white trucks looks the best with the grille but the MGM is a close second.

Driving experience is a bit different than my old 15, Engines feel totally different, and the Gearbox shifts so much smoother than the old except Reverse which is still a bear to get into.

Yes, very much so, but its also break in time so I was not wanting to push too hard. There are a lot of hills here and I could usually buzz right up them in 6th in the 15 but had to use 4th in this one.

Look for a good mesh. Make it your own.

I'm all about making it your own, but the mesh looks too home-depot'ish chicken wire. Pro is OK, just overpriced for a molded plastic part.

Had the Off Road Brake Booster in my 15 and it was really touchy and had very little pedal travel, the Off Road Booster in the 17 feels more refined with a little more travel and better feel to it.

A lot of guys on here knock 5th... I think 5th is almost perfect. But I'm coming from a 2nd gen auto... 4th and 5th in that were the same as 4th and 6th in this.

Funny you mentioned 5th as I honestly skipped it in the old one 90% of the time, guess l will be learning to use it more often in this one.

BTW I'll skip 5 getting on the highway but I'll go for it before I drop to 4th as long as I'm doing over 40

My old 97 F150 had 2 inches of play before you were on the brakes

New taco is great on the touch
