I remind the wife to take Dramamine before we leave town.

We did a few test pulls with it. I didn't want to get into something that wasn't going to work.

Dramamine and Bonine is a lot cheaper. Plus she might feel like taking a nap while on it.
Another option is to buy a Class C motor home and keep the taco to pull behind it.
Guess she just has a sensitive stomach. Good luck.

My father tows a horse and hay trailers fairly often, so he is on his 2nd tundra (2011 S5 4.6l now a 2019 SR5 Offroad 5.7l). Could my Tacoma do it, yes, but MUCH rather do it in his Tundra. If I towed that kind of weight often, I would be a in full size Tundy

Good luck with the Tundra, I traded my F-250 for a Tacoma. We had a 34' travel trailer and bought a motor home so much easier.

    I have both - 2018 Tacoma TRD long bed sport AT 4x4 & a 2019 Tundra SR double cab 4.6 4x4
Both have their merits, but I prefer the Tacoma as a daily driver.. much more nimble.

Now, I wish Toyota would put that little 4.6 V8 in the Tacoma!

Should have got a lighter trailer. We wanted a trailer and thought we can get a lighter one and keep the tacoma or go bigger with a tundra. I love my tacoma so we picked up an rpod 190. 2900 dry weight which we have towed with the tacoma and it tows awesome. 19’ same as your and much lighter. Sorry about the taco trade.

Not sad at all. I just came from owning a Tundra and I can tell you that when it comes to doing “truck stuff” such as towing, the Tundra is the best vehicle I ever owned. If I owned a trailer, I would have never gotten rid of it. Make sure to head to tundras.com (this site’s Sister Tundra Forum) it’s full of a bunch of really good guys and gals.

Yes, the OP really cares about your Tacoma bby.

OP, hope it works out for you. I went back and forth and ended up getting a DCLB vs Tundra. Enjoy

Yes, she does. Sometimes it's a pain but I'm sure I have things that are a pain for her too. So, I guess it all balances out in the end.

I should have the new truck in a couple of days. I'll put the photo up when I get it.

We definitely considered the Rpod but thought it was too small for what we wanted. Good suggestion though.
