I started looking for a new truck in December last year. After doing the research and a few test drives, I decided on a Tacoma. I was not in a hurry at all and when I talked with my salesperson in early January, she said I should order a Tacoma right away. I ordered a double cab 6M TRD Sport in Wind Chill Pearl. It took 17 weeks for the truck to arrive at the dealer. When I talked with her in January, I said I wanted to purchase the truck in mid May. I will go and get it on Tuesday, May 11. I have a Leer HF650M Tonneau cover in the garage to put on. Really getting excited.

I have a TRD sport double cab 6ft bed on order since mid Fed. Dealer says it was built May 5 and will be delivered three later. Looking forward to it. 2021 replaces my 2015 that replaced my 2009.

Out of curiosity, why did you go with the sport over the offroad? Not saying one is better than the other just curious.

Good choice on the manual trans!

Welcome aboard, post up pics when she’s in the driveway, I haven’t seen the new white yet!

I thought the only way to get a double cab, manual and wind chill pearl paint was to get a Pro?

I don't think WCP is available for the pro models. You mean limited/nightshade? I guess sport offers it now as well.

I will probably not do much off-road driving. probably just some logging roads to get to the fishing lakes here.

I don't do any off road stuff so Sport is the right fit for me
