That truck looks good but the price will be too high for the average person. Putting a diesel in it is a smart decision especially since the other two don't offer theirs with one.

That probably wouldn't fly through the desert quite as gracefully as the raptor, but i don't think it was really meant to compete with the raptor. considering this is an HD 3/4 ton truck (with a dirtymax) it seems like they were trying to knock the powerwagon down on the totem pole. I could see this being a very popular truck with motocross guys. And as far as capability goes, with 765 lbft of torque, bumpers, and tires like that . . . well if you can manage to keep a truck that big and heavy out of places that it doesn't belong you'd be very well equipped to pull ANYTHING out of a monster mudhole etc etc . .

Pretty awesome...I'd buy it...used when it's 5 years old and worth 1/3 what it was new.

lol @ all these manufacturers trying to produce Fullsize or larger "offroad" trucks. This thing would get stuck between two trees the first time it tried to take a turn on a trail.

Same old G.M. concentrating on their high end big profit margin vehicles. Thas one of the reasons they went bankrupt while Ford, Toyoat and Honda were building gas mizer vehicles G.M. continued to build and concentrate on their big gas guzzling SUV's and trucks. They have come out with the $41,000.00 dollar volt that goes a whopping 50 miles on a single charge. Gimme a Civic 4 cylinder even automatic and in the long run I'll still save gas money over that Volt.

I like the idea and I love how the Big 3 compete with each other but I mean really, look at it. Flared fenders like the ford, BIG in your face grill like Ford and Dodge, storage in the bedsides like the dodge, hood scoop like the dodge ram r/t. I mean come on, lets design something original?

Over all it's still a nice truck especailly with putting the diesel in it. I can also see the motocross guy's using this or people towing their campers to pismo or the desert.

I sold my Sierra and replaced it with my Tacoma. I really miss the size of the Sierra. And I've always been a GMC man. My first vehicle was a 64 GMC. My second vehicle was a 64 GMC too. My third vehicle was a 95 GMC. I almost bought an 05 GMC instead of my 05 Tacoma. (Throw in a handful of motorcycles of course).

I love the look of the HD...and would love to own one if ever produced...but I know the price tag would kill me dead.

Yep, it's the factory version of what a lot of guys would build anyway. Plus factory warranty and financing.

Raptor does not seem like it's supposed to be a daily driver. It's more of a factory built toy.

The dodge is a totally different animal, it's more for slow speed crawling around. But I don't really get why they didn't go with the Cummins in that rig. Could have something to do with the 4:1 transfer case and diesel torque.

    Not enough.
Not working for me. In the first paragraph they even mention that the raptor is superior.

Although I anticipate a bunch of bro's getting these;)
