Worst case scenario, it turns out to be wiring related to the remote install, that I'll pay out of my pocket, and then have to tool on up to the installers to address it with them.
I'm all cool with you guys, I take no umbrage at anything said, sort of wished to have my truck back by now though.
I'll keep everyone in the loop as the saga unfolds.

They're too slow. U need to check directly on mfg website to have a gleaming hope of getting ammo at a decent price. Subsonic 22 has been pretty steady available though

I'm sitting on 44K of real ammo, spread out over maybe 6 calibers, and 8K of .22, so I'm relatively good, still wish I had bought more back when things were inexpensive. I fondly remember South African .308 at $138 a case delivered, man...if only I had the money at that point in my life.

Dam, I decided to buy my first firearm a week ago, too bad it’s useless for now. There is nothing to be had around here.

Sign up for notifications with SG Ammo / Target Sports USA, Midway, Etc., Etc. When you get a text or email that it's in stock, pull over and buy a thousand rounds. Don't wait, it won't be there later. Target Sports USA ships free, if purchased by the case. (If you manage to pull it off there first.)
You're gonna pay for it, but it is what it is..

You can find it online. Sixty cents apiece for 9mm is cheap right now. I have a few thousand rounds but have cut back on target practice until CoVid is over.

Ya I paid like 110 bucks for 150 fmj rounds shipped, I also picked up 40 rounds of sig hollow point for about a buck a round. So as long as I on,y have to fend off about 40 zombies I’ll be good.

I'll be making my way to the car stereo shop shortly, rather do this face to face than over a phone call.
The dealership has smoking gun evidence that it was their install, they want to talk with the stereo guys, but would ideally have them drive down to the dealership to see things with their own eyeballs.
The wiring was good, but a screw used to secure the wiring with some kind of mount was driven into the ECU, and normal vibrations over the last 3 months let it finally contact something...the ECU had partially melted, burned right through in one spot, and dealership guy says it's a wonder the truck didn't catch on fire.

I guess we will find out how reputable the installer really is.
