    From an IT perspective. An OS is an OS is an OS. They all have a function and place in the computing environment. To assume one is any better than the other is really quite asinine.

    The only thing I hate about Apple is their pricing. I'm almost certain that is why they've only mustered 8% or so of the market.

    I will say MS and for the most part Linux doesn't get enough credit. These two have done an absolute amazing job in that they have managed to work on just about every piece of hardware out there.

    Apple codes for such a small subset of hardware; which in turn makes it easier to build a more stable system. However it's not without fault.

    Only Mac product I've ever really desired was an iPod... I have a 2nd gen Nano thats three years old and has been through hell and still works. Now I want an iTouch.


    I'd much rather have my XP powered Vaio (best computer I ever bought, by far) or my Windows 7 powered HP laptop than any competing Mac.
