Start with the lesser-priced protection ...

    All-weather floor mats against mud/dirt.

Tinted windows if in AZ for sure, sot sure about your needs. Do not start asking about tinted windshield ... that is a sh*tbath topic.

If you want a dashcam I like NextBase 522 GW (base glues with pad to windshield, magnet from unit to base for easy removal) for self-documentation in accidents. But some may like GoPros for "action shots" better and others can comment. NextBase is available at BestBuy.

You can get better headlights cheaply initially by replacing the stock H11 with H9 (just remove the green harness-spacer). You can fight the LED headlight battle later.

Most other things require research though all the threads here (Armor forum, Lights forum, Wheels forum, etc) because of the many many $$$$$$$ you CAN spend and yet despise the result anyway.

If you have experience going off-road then just drive it for a while and you will get a feel for what you need or want.
If you're new to off-roading then just drive it for awhile and break it in with some easy trails and such so you get a feel for how it handles and what you might like to improve.
No sense in dumping a bunch money into stuff to only realize that you don't need it and regret buying it.

LOL, the Tele was back when I was in high-school and had just bought a custom built axe, I was madly in love with it. As for the mods, thank you for the advice! Those seem simple enough and I'll look into it! Thank you!

Yes, my buddy's DCLB. Loved it, especially compared to my current OBS Ford

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
Cat guards… because right now someone is smoking crack and in a few hours will be searching the streets for Tacomas with a 18v cordless grinder and a Diablo blade having a crazed look in their eyes!!!
