I keep the interior of my truck immaculate and I take decent care of the exterior but it goes off road and it's gonna get some scratches. The bed on the other hand is already beat to shit, which is what it's meant for. I bought a truck so I can throw shit in the bed and not have to worry about screwing the interior up like if I had an SUV. I honestly don't see what the point of getting a truck is if you're trying to keep the bed perfect.

I wasnt meaning to imply that you use it to get grocery's. I was just using that as an example of someone who doesnt use it as a truck. Carrying large items like an elk is enough to say it was being used as a truck for me.

The bed may be tough but it still takes scratches fairly easy. I marred my bed on my first camping/offroading trip in it. Wish the coating was stronger but I got over it in a few seconds even with it only being 1 month old.

Get a toneau to hide the bed or treat it to some monstaliner.

Its good to care for stuff. I do too. But I no longer obsess over stuff. It's not worth the time or emotional expense.

I have a brand new $60,000 f250. Plenty of scratches in the bed already. If you use your truck like a truck its gonna happen. I'll bedline it before long. The rest of the truck is a different story. I'll do my best to keep it pristine.

    Good luck.

Oh yeah forgot its a plastic bed. No excuses.

My truck used to be perfect inside and out. Washed it at least once a week. Then I had kids. My truck isn't trashed but it's definitely messy. Rain is my new truck wash.

Best advice you'll get: if you're going to ever put anything in the bed aside from piles of blankets.... Just enjoy it. That bitch gonna get scratched. It'll live. That's the BENEFIT of the fiberglass/composite bed over a regular steel/etc. bed.

Hey I understand completely. I'm pretty anal and OCD about most things I do. I like to keep things clean and well maintained, they just last longer that way. I understand that it is a truck and if you haul a ton of stuff in it there will be scuffs and scratches, but if you can take 10 seconds to prevent it why wouldn't you. Not only do I agree with you about preventing unnecessary damage but I would have been angry too. Sure it's just a truck but it's not your employee's truck, it's your truck, and if you want to take extra precautions they should respect that. I might be the only one so far but I get it and I would have been angry too. I bought my truck so that I had 4wd and could haul what little I need to haul, that doesn't mean I just want to throw stuff around and run my expensive vehicle just because it's a truck. I've had old beater trucks before and that's why they are called that but I'll be damned if I'm going to just allow my nice new truck to get messed up with unnecessary damage. Keep on keeping on my friend.

I agree with others here. I'm trying to keep up the paint and interior but I'm not so concerned with the inside of the bed.

I think that would drive me crazy. Also rhino line it if it gets too bad.
