Very excited, can't wait to get out there. Keeping my current job, just relocating out there. I already have some family and friends, regularly go to the state for hunting. I haven't spent much time in Phoenix, looking like I'm moving out by June or July. Any helpful hints from TW AZ?

Welcome to AZ when you show up finally and be careful in summer. Lots of water. Oh and we have a different road rules/speed limits out here as well.

I know, but waiting for my daughter to finish a preschool program. Not ideal, but a compromise with the wife.

Very aware of the road rules, especially when traveling with CA plates. Can't wait to take those off the taco.

Also can't wait to take off the bullet buttons. Trying to decide if I should leave them in Blythe on the side of the road, or ship them to the CA DOJ With a friendly note to store them where the sun doesn't shine.

I'll be in Tempe for work. I self relocated, so I have to foot the bill. It's worth it though. I see it as an investment that should payback in the first year if my math is correct.

Yeah, don't move in the summer. You'll die. Or, hire a moving crew so you don't have to get heat stroke.

Office is in Tempe. Not sure what part of town I will end up in. Have some family in Scottsdale, so I might try to be close to them.

Tempe is pretty good. We are based in Gilbert and love it there. 30-45 minutes away from the nearest trails.

    Other items:
    • Parents are in Prescott, so I will be taking trips up there.
    • I have a 40 acre ranch adjacent to state trust up near Seligman. Beautiful piece of land, covered with trees, and makes a nice base camp.
    • Very active hunter, so open to chasing quail or calling in some coyotes with anyone here
    • Interested in some gold prospecting too
