I remember El Nino well. I was 17 and in my first car (vw bug) with no heater! I had to keep wiping the inside of the windshield. All I remember was it rained for days and streets was flooded.

I did this on my very first car but I turned the wheel towards the skid and just made the left turn a super wide turn. Good thing it was a huge street. I was going too fast. We learn from our mistakes. Sorry yours was a costly one.

Good luck with your search. Sorry to hear about that.

On a side note, if you guys go up to Big Bear (or anywhere it snows), PLEASE get the snow off your roof before you come down the mountain and fly down the highway. I was heading up to Big Bear today and some guy in a white Chevy was coming down. A huge chunk of snow/ice flew off his roof and I hit it going about 50 MPH. It hit directly on the fog lamp and it broke all the clips and my fog lamp went flying across the road. I wish I could've turned around to get this guy for a hit and run.

    Aftermath:

Based on what it did to my fog lamp, I'm surprised nothing else was damaged.

Luckily Noe is a nice guy and is letting me borrow his old fog lamps until I can replace mine. Thanks buddy.
