These are from our Pine Valley run last week. Big thanks to Albert, Derek, and Ron! You guys are awesome, thanks for getting me out on my first trail run. Great times, maybe sometime when I get some 5100's I can bomb it like you guys lol. Thank god for 4x or if you're Derek, a locker. Again guys thanks! Sorry but they are all phone pics if it's crappy.

...pacific weather system to impact southwestern california friday
    night and saturday...

A pacific system of moderate intensity will move through the area
friday night and saturday and bring rain. Snow will be possible in
the mountains. There will also be gusty winds in the mountains and
adjacent deserts and a slight chance of thunderstorms. High surf
will be possible at the coast over the weekend.

The rain with this system will mostly be moderate in intensity with
preliminary rainfall forecasts of between one-quarter and one-half
inch near the coast friday night and saturday. Strong southwest flow
about one mile above sea level will result in uplifting over
southwest-facing mountain slopes where an inch of rain or more could
fall. Also...isolated thunderstorms will be possible and could bring
a short period of heavy rain. This could result in local flooding of
low-lying areas...and if thunderstorms occur in recent burn
areas...debris flows will be possible. The snow level will be around
5500 feet...and amounts of 3 to 6 inches will be possible above 5500
    feet.

Winds could gust over 40 mph at times in the mountains and adjacent
parts of the deserts...and with the passage of the cold front late
friday night or early saturday morning...a period of wind gusts over
30 mph could impact the coast as well.

High surf...with occasional sets of 8 feet or more...will be
possible at the beaches saturday and sunday due to a west swell
    associated with this system.

Another system could impact the area early next week with more
    rain and mountain snow possible.
