When I bought I had to buy new because I couldn't believe how much a 4 year old with 100k was bringing.

I bought mine after doing a job where we had 6 2008 Tacoma's, AC 4x4, with bed loads of at least 1500 lbs. We drove them 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in a rotation. Usually around 300 miles per shift, so they would accrue nearly 1,000 miles a day and each truck worked about 3-4 days a week. We worked them HARD. Ran in 4x4 all day in the winter as required. They all had over 300k on them, and I would not have hesitated to jump in one and drive cross country. We did normal service, nobody ever broke down in my 2 years on that job.

    Same as everybody else...
Congrats on the truck. I bought mine in 2015, a 2009 DCSB Prerunner with 56k miles on her. I'm pushing 96k now and she's been bulletproof with just normal maintenance
