Two guys responsible for my love of Toyota trucks. Ironman Ivan, and my old man's bud back in the 70's who had a sweet assed 76 FJ-40 with a chevy 350 in it. That guy was a calvary scout pilot in Vietnam, and as the old man used to say "he drove that truck like he was flying that chopper". The toughness of that FJ and the shit he did in it sold me on Toyotas, and I've been a fan ever since. No Toyota I've ever owned has failed to live up to those expectations.

Still remember as a kid in the 80's sitting in the movie theater watching Baja 1000 race footage with the old Ironman just flying through shit with those Toyota trucks...

Shit. I think it should be a required question before buying a Toyota truck. "Who is the Ironman?" Answer wrong, and purchase denied, we're gonna send you over to the Honda dealership and they have a Ridgeline waiting for you there, lol!
