Bought my Ivans from Ebay, aprx 550, 2006-7.

    1. Love the look and cheap.
    2. never been able to balance properly(terrible wheel shake). done every combination of balancing possible and then some so save your comments! HC, WC, swapped tires with new etc....I am not sure really if it is the tires or wheels or what....I gave up, just live with it.
    3. Center wheel caps, 3 of the alum skins feel off and are missing, didn't really matter since they looked like shit anyway. clear coating peeled away.
    4. all 4 wheels look like shit due to failing clear coating.

My truck has not been abused in the mud at all, rarely off road. I did use that harsh tire cleaner spray to clean off the armorall. ~used maybe 10 times...still should be the problem, but not sure.

    Cheap and look good !

    goodluck

Really, bought mine in 2006 Ebay and the center caps just pop/push in/on.

AND my wheels look like shit. clear coat going to hell, chipping, discoloring. I like style but they need to be refinished or something. I keep the clean, hardly any salt in the winters till this one. It is just a bad - cheap finish. Period.

Anyone now how to have them fixed?

Funny all 4 of mine have gone to shit equally. 3 of the center caps have broken or aluminum peeled from the shell part. Clear coating bad on them before the broke also..

Where did you get yours? Got mine from EBay, sometimes them guys get things to sell that are blemished in some way. Not all but there are some.

How about balancing yours? Mine are manageable now, but have all ways sucked pretty bad for a new truck. It wasn't the tires either we checked everything.

For the price, heck if I could get some good ones I would buy again. Hence me on this tread!!!

I purchased mine from Rusty Wallace Toyota in Tennessee. They came with the center caps and spline drive lugs in the box. All four of mine ballance like a dream....never any issues. I took them to my local 4x4 shop and had them done.

Bingo, My suspicions about my EBAY wheels validated. Damn.....

I have been fighting with these wheels for 50K miles, shacking steering, Road force bal this that....Damn.

What did you pay for yours? not that it matters because mine have been so bad it has taken way from my enjoying a new ride....

Not the first thing I have felt I bought on EBAY and it was shit...

With that find, I feel it would be ok to buy the wheels from other then EBAY. I wouldn't buy from there at no price...

    Damn it damnit ...

I have the TRD wheels as well with Yokohama Geolandar ATS tires. I get a little wheel shake at 55-60 mph. I have heard that Toyota wheels need "hub centric" balancing which is different from what most shops do. Anyone heard the same?
