    how old are you, OP?

Now that I sit back and think, if me and my gf ever broke up, i'd have no ties to where I am right now, and im young enough to move anywhere I want to..Maybe its something to think about...

I turn 24 in November. I have a lot of ties to the area where I live, my career, and a lot of family. She is the one with no ties in the area, no family, only a handful of friends (she has a problem making friends, non of mine like her btw).

Like someone digging a tunnel out of jail, I can almost taste freedom!:D

    Well said B.

OP, this is not a "path of self destruction". This is called finding yourself. Welcome to the Human Condition.

Yeah man, You're young! And there is a lot out there. I understand she has no ties here. And you might feel sorry for her. But you need to decide whats best for you!

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Well, you've already completed important step No.1. You admitted that what you did was wrong and I think you also know what needs to be done. Look at it this way. It sounds like you've been unhappy with the 3 year girl for over a year. This is probably why you slept with the girl in Boston. Its also also why you hooked up with one of your exes. If I were you I'd break it off with both because do you really want to date someone who you got back together with under those circumstances? How old are you? I gather you're probably in your early 20's. In other words- too young to be making super serious commitments. Get out there. Meet new people. Learn more about yourself. Get some more experience so to speak. Then you'll meet the right person. Good luck.
