    GET THE TACOMA!! No question...

I bought my 08 DC 3 months after our 1st child was born...NO PRBLEMS having a car seat or 2 in the back. Its been great. You will be VERY happy with your tacoma..

U will regret it if you buy the ridge:eek:

Loving her seat and view...With enough room for momma to sit back there.

Depends on how far the front seat is set foward.... I have had the car seat and 2 women in the back with both seats almost ALL the way back.

in the city I get 16-17 MPG but last weekend on the highway I got 22 1/2. That was doing 70 with the a/c and in some pretty hilly areas. Also my daily drive is purely city and unfortunatly in stop and go traffic the whole way. Also is your current truck a 4 or 6 cyl?

Hey Irishpride, I have a question. On the Ridgeline isn't the spare in the "bed-trunk"? If so, then when you have a load in the bed and get a flat, do you feel like unloading it to get to the spare? Get the Taco., just my 2 cents. Go Irish!

The only reason I say I will need 4wd is for how much we hunt and driving on the beach unless you guys think a 2wd w/ off rd package will suffice.

So let me remind you of the obvious. #1 The RL is larger. So yes you will have the extra room you'll need. #2 The looks of the RL are horrible & you know it. That's why youre asking us. But no one here in a Tacoma site are going to say..."Go for the RL." I thought I would include a picture of my tacoma with 2 car seats in the back. I have a 4 & a 2 year old who can still sit in their seats and not bother me. BUT they can still kick me if they wanted to. The question I have for you is WHY NOT A TUNDRA? It's like the best of both worlds. Their double cab is tight! I'd reconsider your two options. Good Luck.

With my DC I'm getting 18 - 20 mpg around town. Put in couple child seats for display at Fire Prevention Display we had at Walmart. PD had the idea it wouldn't work in my DC and I got coffee for a month because I it did. Sorry no pics of the seats in DC.
