So there is this bird...and he lives around my house...and this little bird enjoys landing on all of the vehicles we keep outside..and crappin on them right under the passenger side mirror..our thought is that the bird likes to look at itself and craps in the process.

I need a solution and I dont think shooting it is an option due to the houses that would be in the line of fire...

    HELP

    and yes this is serious

Can you rest a mousetrap on the car where the bird lands?

Cover the mirrors for the season. I had a friend with a cardinal in his yard that did the same crap... every day, all day long, this bird would beat his brains out against the side mirrors. He thought his reflection was another bird moving in on his territory. Buddy started covering his mirrors with oven mitts (it was a Corolla with small mirrors) and the bird finally gave up.

    This too.

the mousetrap idea might work..if i roll the window down..but ill try it on my dads truck to keep crap and blood out the tacoma..also i need a more permanent solution than to covering the mirrors because the bird gets on the tonneau cover and craps on that while lookin in the reflection of the rear window

i'm sorry i have no help. but the same keeps happening to my friends dads truck. there is bird shit all over his driver door hood. drive way wear he parks. it's like they fly into the class or something. BUT it only happens if the truck is clean. if he dose not wash it for a few weeks it wont happen. but as soon as he cleans it the bird attacks it that night.. me and my friend find it kinda funny it only happens when it's clean.

If you read the instructions, you are supposed to move them regularly.

    They work when first installed.
And they work if you move them every couple of days.
