Musk cutting sticker price of Tesla EV's s right and left. And we're talking major cuts because Tesla is having inventory backlog problems. Watch for other vehicle manufacturers to start cutting their prices as the Fed says "more rate hikes this year and maybe next". TIMBER

Maybe EV price cuts, if course the legacy manufacturers are losing money on EV sales, and are covering the lose with ICE sales. Not sure how price cuts will work out there. Not saying it can't happen. Stop producing EV to lower ICE costs. No EV competition for Tesla, prices on Tesla won't have to be discounted.

I wonder if a Tesla built in Austin is better than a Tesla built in Nuevo Leon?

I think l read that Ford lost something like 6 Billion on EV's, they definitely need high priced regular vehicles going to fund that.

picture it. the year is 1980. GM churned out 44mm cars and trucks. Ford did 20mm. And little Toyota and their 6mm units was a distant 4th

Look for pricing details to come out in late August/September. We're not far away when trucks with turbo-charged engine go on sale November/December. Then we find out when the "rubber meets the road" and price pumpers go bye-bye.

The 2023 SR5 AC with the only option the SX package is 38,660 MSRP add 450 for LED which will be standard on 4G. That's going to be the equivalent model to a 2024 SR XC with alloy wheels. Add the minimum $3k new model increas. Your 2024 SR XC 4x4 is going to MSRP for $42,110.

Edit: Rising materials costs will have to be factored in, so expect quarterly price increases as well.

Have to wonder if half the board works for Toyota, or have stock in company since price pumping is taken to the MAX. Pretty soon idiot price pumpers will claim the SR grade starts at $45,000 and TRD Pro, Trailhunter and Limited all start at $80,000.

No wonder some of these car/truck forum's fail, due to massive misinformation and foul language.

I don't think the majority of the board is "price pumping". There will be lower cost models like base SR 2wd Xtra Cab, but 80 percent of Tacoma's will be configured as double cab short bed 4x4 AT, so you should expect to see higher transaction prices.

I paid $40.9K for my new 2023 TRD off road 6 weeks ago, are saying the new 2024 TRD off road will be less than that ?

I'm saying many. many fools here over inflate (yet to be determined) price of 2024 Tacoma lines. No one know what 2024 TRD off road will cost yet we all know Toyota base model will start around $29,000. Even Toyota has insinuated that. Yet fools here claim SR5 will start at North of $37,000 and Sport North of $40,000. And of course TRD Pro, Limited and Trailhunter at $60,000 plus. All Baloney - but its a free country (thank God) and you can post what ever sticks on a slimy wall.

Many posters here going to eat major crow come September when Toyota prices new Tacoma lines slightly above 2023 prices. Deal with it.

Who are these fools and what inflated prices have they posted ?

    As I stated…just paid (6 weeks ago) $40.9K.

Are you saying the new 2024 TRD off road will be less than I paid ?

    YES or NO ?

Remember that the Sport and Off Road for 2024 will eliminate the Access Cab and only come with Double Cab. For 2023 the least expensive double cab Sport 4x2 is $37,750 with destination. It's pretty safe to think the starting price for a 4x2 will stay below 40K, but once again the majority will be configured as DCSB 4x4 which will definitely exceed 40K.

I think the only person who cares at all about this is you. And you seem to be really worked up about it.

One - You over paid dude

Two - June 2023 average vehicle transaction prices are below MSRP. Electric car prices are down more than 20% a year ago. Manufacturer incentives rose $2,048, there highest level in a year.

For those who want a 2024 Tacoma the best decision you can make is hold off ordering until Spring 2024, because that's when you'll see Toyota dealership drop prices and offer incentives.

    BINGO

It's actually somewhat of a moot point, regarding the MSRP. Dealers will be tacking on dealer markup fees on the new Tacoma, anywhere from $2500 on up, I'm betting.
