jack stand question...

    If you check the info from later years they no longer recommended it.

    Now I haven’t done s real close inspection of the Tacoma. But many axle tubes a pressed into the differential housing. Stress it the wrong way they ca bend or begin to separate. It won’t happen they first time, maybe, but eventually...

    I lift the front in the area below. Seems to be the strongest point. I use a hockey puck to prevent frame damage and a Safe Jack flat plate for stability. The circle is where the grey plastic cover was. It gets in the way of jacking up the truck so it’s history.

    The off road’s 8.75” rear axle is well made. Hino is a heavy truck axle maker overseas.
