Nope. Just Jackery.

I ran a couple of group buys here and the response from the TW community was good enough that Jackery asked about doing some giveaways here to promote some of their promotions. Somewhere along the way I got added to a mailing list where they occasionally send me promo codes or other sales prior to them going live. Whenever I get one of those emails, or see another decent sale, I'll update this thread. Just sort of a way for people to know if they are getting a good deal when they are ready to make a purchase. I'm like your very own Jackery camelcamelcamel.

 

How do these compare to the Goal Zero?

 

I don't have any experience with the Goal Zero, but my experience with Jackery has been very good. I would hands down buy it again.

All depends on deals. I’m looking personally at the 1000 or higher with pannels. Also looking at the 160 or 240 for Christmas presents for family.

It makes me wonder if they are currently having issues with shipment/stock. They've been doing so many promotions lately and Labor Day is kind of a big holiday. The website shows that they are currently sold out of the 200W panels and the Explorer 300. I know the Explorer 1500 was out of stock for a while, but they have those back in now. I still have a code for $20 off the E300 that can usually be combined with other promotions when it is in stock if that entices you to get the 300 over the 160 or 240. Just keep an eye on the website and let me know.

I'll send my contact an email and see about getting a new code for the E1000 and E500, as my 500 code expired. I can also ask about a code for the panels.

 

I did get an email from them about their upcoming 9th Anniversary sale. That should be going live on October 18-20, 2021. I know that's a ways out, but if you aren't in a rush you might be able to save a bit. Last year, the anniversary sale was better than any of their holiday or just cause sales.

 

I have a code for 10% off all Explorer and SolarSaga series. Code is valid until 10/17, so get while the gettin' is good.

I don't think I've ever seen the 160 on sale and the 240 is rarely on sale, so those of you who might be interested in the smaller units, this could be the time to jump in.

Picked up a 500 with solar panel during the sale. Super stoked to get out and use it.

 

I have a couple of the 240 models, and given 3 away.

I watch Amazon Warehouse deals and get that model for 149.xx
Brand new, in the box every time.

It is half the power of the 500 (roughly) but one third the price at that deal.
Two is one, one is none sort of thing.

But, I did get the 500 on the Anniversary sale because it is never on sale. It is a lot bigger than the 240 and has a higher rated inverter.

The 240 is great for the backup LED light I have used it for so far. Weekend camping I came back with 80+ percent. using an LED light 2 days for 7 hours or so and charging my phone.

 

I never even thought about that. Good idea!

I did get an email to "look out" for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals in addition to an upcoming sale on the 240 and 300 models. No specifics yet.

Currently $799 and ships free. That's better than what Jackery is offering direct for Black Friday deals. I've emailed my contact to see if we can get an additional TacomaWorld holiday promo code to match that price. But if you have a Home Depot pro-rewards.....get those points!
