We don't mess with anything other than Goal Zero.

    GOAL ZERO.

Their battery sizes are more useful in my mind AND their offering of solar panels are more diverse than Ecoflow and Jackery. Goal Zero also has more accessories to facilitate how you want to set up how you are going to charge your station (Off a alternator, panels, 120v, etc....) I had a buddy put Jackery in his Land Cruiser, and quickly ended up swapping it out for Goal Zero. The fit and finish is better on the Goal Zero and the reliability seems a bit better.

In short, if you're going to be running your battery often, splurge for the best one you can. You'll feel better about it.

Also, get a battery that has some overhead on it. (i.e. 20% more watts etc.) Don't forget Watts= Volts * Amps (w=vA)

I just bought a goal zero boulder 100 solar panel, that I mounted on the roof of my camper shell, for charging a Blackfire PAC505 power station used to run an electric cooler (Dometic CFX3 35) in my 2023 Access Cab Tacoma. The system seems to work well when I'm sitting still, but for some reason when I start driving, the solar panel stops charging the battery. Charging will resume if I unplug the charge cable from the power station and plug it back in, but if I start driving again charging stops, Is this normal?

Note also that if I plug the power station into the 12-volt power outlet and drive it charges just fine. It just doesn't seem to want to charge from the solar panel while I'm driving.

A brand you don’t hear much of on here is Anker. We use the 757 for back up power at home for my cpap and fridge. LIFPO power cell, simple controls, and dependable. They did come out with a bigger one the 767 after we got this.
Our mi do camper is equipped with 2 100w Renogy panels and a Renogy remote panel set powering 2 group 31 AGM batteries . The Anker will power the AC though if we are camping when real hot
